What a Precious Boy!!! *waterworks*

What a wonderful story of a family taking this precious one in!  AJ would LOVE him and embrace him!  I cried as I watched this clip.  I must confess, I do not watch, nor read, as many pro-life pieces as I can (whether in the end it's uplifting, or downright tragic).  I am strong, but I won't pretend that my heart can handle everything in the news; I know a healthy balance for myself, and I know my calling in life in which I do my best to fulfill -- however, I was drawn to this video.  It isn't long, but it's MOVING and POWERFUL. 

Sweet, precious Eddie's characteristics and giftings remind me so much of AJ's gifting in insight and discernment as well.  Just this past weekend I spoke at a banquet, and on our way there AJ, yet again, treated someone that average society would overlook with such warmth and consideration.  He does this often.  He has a gift with how he makes people feel. 

It is sad that sweet, baby Eddie was thrown away alive in a trash bag.  My heart also goes out to the person who did that, because as I shared in our recent banquet, the issue does not stand alone in convincing people that an unborn baby is a human being.  It is that people, themselves, do not feel loved and valued, or were downright abused and/or neglected, so in turn they do not understand nor act out the value and respect of life -- whether the situation is an unborn baby, a baby conceived in rape, or a "disabled" baby, etc., there are common factors regarding this issue.
