The sun rises, the sun sets, and time goes by. I choose to cherish the moments I live with Josh and AJ the way I was meant to be in their lives as a wife and mother. Sure, I may get frustrated with dirty laundry not ending up in the right place, or dishes left in odd areas, but that doesn’t determine my love for Josh. Last year, I remember walking into the kitchen, and just about every cupboard was wide open . . . and no one was in there! Thinking back, it is funny and sort of endearing in a strange way. We’ve had our more serious ups and downs that most couples have, but it has strengthened our love, maturity, parenting habits, and our growth in Christ. Dear Josh, Here are just some of the ways that I love and treasure you: You listen to me, and hear my emotions; I appreciate that. You traded your bachelor life of man-freedom and man-money, for us and our amazing life together! I love that you see the value in that! You love AJ as your own. He is ours together, and you give him security in your relationship with him. I know I can count on you to encourage him, nurture him, lift him up, and be a pillar of strength in his life as a father should. You are responsible with finances and bills. You like to cook, and you enjoy helping me with it on various days. You are great at spending father/son time with AJ when I go to an event or connect with someone. With you, I don’t feel insecure or worried about being compared to other beautiful women. You see me, and you see beyond “looks”! I’ve never felt so at ease, and it feels wonderful. You support and encourage my dreams, ambitions, and goals. I love working in the coffee shop with you at church, and attending church as a family. Your commitment to going, reaching out, and connecting with dear ones is attractive ;) I love talking about deep topics with you. I am impressed at the jeans you’ve picked out for me when I was shopping! I love that we mutually share the importance of doing family activities together. You find me attractive through my crazy goofiness. I love how you continuously seek after a relationship with God through daily devotions, and your walk with Him. I love that you can accept and love people without compromising your own standards and beliefs. You have a strength, and are very manly, yet you are SO patient and gentle . . . LOVE it! I love you, who you are, and that you chose me to be your wife! Though it’s sad to see AJ cry sometimes when you leave for work, it’s touching how much he misses you. That means a lot! It warms my heart so much to see how much he loves you. This is just a small list that describes how important you are in both of our lives. You are our hero! ~ Your Lucky Wife, Robyn

RobynI randomly desire to sit and relax at a campfire with good company on a grey-skied day and a cool breeze.
