Powerful Communication Without Words

AJ may not really say much in sentences, or many words for that matter. And today, has been just that, 'One of those days'...even when awesome things are happening, we all go through it. Especially, when awesome things are happening, the devil is going to try to get you down on something or distracted from what God is doing in you and through you! AJ approached me, and in a beckoning voice said, "Maamaa", looking up at me, then he turned to the bookcase, flipped through the books, and pulled out, "The Power of Being Positive" by Joyce Meyer (one of my favorite ladies!). Then he opened the book and pointed to a sentence that said, "I don't know God's plan, but I know He loves me. Whatever He does will be good, and I'll be blessed". Lately, my thoughts have been wondering exactly what endeavors I seek will prosper and amount to something, or does God have something different in mind? Then AJ looked up at me, flipped to another part of the book and pointed to another sentence, "But I had zero victory because I did not know the Word". Which is what our Bible study was on last night in small groups, really knowing the Word for truth and using it to battle the lies and claim victory. I will be using this book along with our Radiant Church small groups devotional!! AJ is such a blessing in my life to a greater extent than he'll probably ever know. Without his knowledge, it spoke deeply to me, and was just what I needed to read that day.
