It's been really crazy trying to finish up homeschooling and renovation in 2021 - along with all the other random things that come up.
Through it all though, I keep asking myself what I really hold dear and what I really want to create space and time for.
Life is a tough balance sometimes, but a key point is remaining in check with it so we don't look back and realize we missed the important moments. Like you, I have goals and dreams, but I'm asking myself how I can drink in each season I have right now with my family and kids...soaking up all I can in the moments I won't get again.
What things are a yes and what things are a no?
For me, I'm honing in my focus of what has to be done this summer so I can enjoy and maximize Fall, but also prioritize this summer with quality time with my kids because my daughter is reaching the end of toddlerhood as a four year old before she goes to school, and my ten year old son is fast approaching teen years in this preteen status.
So, I'm asking myself how I want to maximize my time with them now in ways that I can't months from now.
How does this resonate with you during the year of partial rebuilding after 2020?
I randomly desire to sit and relax at a campfire with good company on a grey-skied day and a cool breeze.
